The Bible Fails!
If you’re a believer in the Abrahamic God, buckle up! This will be a rough ride, but somewhere along the way you may understand the bible claims you’ve embraced are not true. It takes courage to objectively consider the difficult parts of the bible but knowing the truth is far better than believing a lie.
Like someone in a toxic relationship, many believers feel pressure to excuse or ignore the troubling parts of the Bible. Confronting those issues can be uncomfortable and walking away from long-held beliefs can be painful. But, many people reach that point after studying the Bible closely and realizing its truth claims don’t hold up under scrutiny. They chose freedom and so can you!
If you’re already in the process of deconstructing your faith, keep going! Many people who leave Christianity find the evidence strongly supports rejecting its claims. Letting go of deeply rooted beliefs can feel unsettling, but freeing yourself from superstition is liberating. You are understanding snake oil salesmen have sold you an imaginary cure for an imaginary problem.
It’s also important to recognize that Christianity is a powerful institution. It has made many apologists and church leaders filthy rich. They gain massive wealth and influence by convincing desperate people the bible is true. If you have the courage to raise questions, they will certainly have polished responses ready. No surprise there! Pastors and priests deliberately avoid the scriptures we will examine here. There's a good reason for that. If all Christians learned what you are about to discover, the pews would be empty.
That’s why it’s important to read the Bible yourself and examine its claims carefully. You must approach it objectively and let the words mean what words mean! Christianity claims that belief is a matter of choice. Wrong! We believe what we find convincing. So let’s explore the Bible together—looking closely at its claims, its contradictions, and the evidence surrounding it—and see how badly it fails!
